Transferring the registered address to the United states
Certain jurisdictions allow for the legal transfer of a company to the United States, such as France, which permits the legal transfer of the registered address of a French legal entity to a U.S. state. Merging a US and a French Company
It is also perfectly legal to have a foreign company merged with or absorbed by a U.S. company. In this case, the foreign company transfers its assets and liabilities to the American company, leading to the dissolution of the foreign entity. How a U.S. company can operate in Europe ?
A U.S. company can legally operate in any European jurisdiction by registering a branch office. A branch office is a fully registered secondary establishment in the foreign country and possesses the same rights as a local company to engage in all types of business activities
For example, the main company may be located in Miami, while the French branch can conduct activities in France and in all European countries.
